Booking.com, the world’s leading online travel company, has launched its inaugural APAC Travel Confidence Index, which provides a snapshot of how confident consumers feel about exploring the world again. The desire to travel remains strong amongst Asia Pacific travelers overall, with ease of planning and booking travel as well as cost being the top two considerations. Confidence amongst Chinese travelers is strong, close behind India and Vietnam, China ranked 3rd on the Travel Confidence Index. 89% Chinese travelers are likely to travel in the next 12 months, ranking 1st in all the markets.

7月7日，香港特别行政区政府发布公报，即日起暂缓个别航线熔断机制，直至另行通告。特区政府在公报中表示，个别航线熔断机制原意是避免在短时间内从个别较高风险地区输入大量个案。然而，大量乘客必然会因航线熔断而被打乱来港行程，在机位和指定检疫酒店供应紧张的时候，其衍生的社会成本相当高。考虑到按社会成本效益采取精准抗疫措施的大原则，政府决定即日起暂缓个别航线熔断机制，直至另行公告。目前正按机制停飞的航班亦可受惠重飞。
